When it comes to the three-row luxury crossover segment, the competition is heated. But one vehicle that has had no trouble maintaining its spot at the top is the Lincoln Aviator. Now, Kelley Blue Book Canada is backing that up by comparing the Lincoln Aviator to one of its top competitors: the Cadillac XT6.
The KBB Canada editors recognized the Lincoln Aviator as the better value between the two highly popular SUVs. Putting it ahead of the XT6 was its powerful engine options, greater towing capacity, and ample cargo space behind the third row.
To start, the Cadillac XT6 offers just 357 litres of space behind the third row while the Lincoln Aviator provides 519 litres. Going beyond room for your groceries and gear, the Lincoln Aviator can be equipped with a 400-horsepower 3.0-litre V6 under the hood. The XT6’s comparable 3.6-litre V6 gets a max of 310 horsepower. But going even further, the Lincoln Aviator’s hybrid powertrain — the aforementioned V6 paired with a nano electric motor — blows the XT6 out of the water with 494 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque.
As a result of all that power, the Lincoln Aviator is able to tow 2,540 kg with its PHEV powertrain and 3,039 kg with the standard V6. The Cadillac XT6 comes in at a max towing capacity of only 1,814 kg.
Here at Downtown Lincoln, you don’t have to take our word for it. The numbers clearly speak for themselves when you compare these two luxury SUVs: The Lincoln Aviator is superior to the Cadillac XT6. Visit us today to see even more reasons to choose the Lincoln Aviator as your new vehicle.
