Toronto is filled to the brim with fun things to do. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the great outdoors or want to enjoy the city’s culture, these are some Toronto attractions that you can really enjoy as you explore.
Wander through High Park. This huge park highlights just how much green space Toronto has, despite being a bustling city. This park boasts sunken gardens, hanging basket gardens, nature trails, ponds, and more — all stretching across 165 acres.
Explore the St. Lawrence Market. Discover delicious local fair, find a special gift for someone, or just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere of this market, which is over 200 years old. It’s a great way to spend your time, and allows you to find unique, artisan products that help you support small businesses.
Take a trip to Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls State Park is only an hour away, so why not hop in your Lincoln and visit this natural wonder? Whether you join a tour or simply take in the Falls from the many viewpoints, it’s a great way to while away an afternoon or a weekend.

If you’re looking to get some exercise or merely want to find new things to do in the great outdoors, these are some of the best outdoor activities you can find in Toronto.
Try your hand at paddle boarding
If you’re looking to work off some extra lockdown weight, consider paddle boarding. Toronto Island SUP, a local paddle boarding company, has a number of classes that you can take part in including paddle-boarding yoga and bird watching.
Go for a hike
Hiking trails are abundant throughout Toronto, so you shouldn’t have a problem finding one to suit your level of expertise and fitness. If you’re looking for a way to stretch your legs that isn’t too strenuous, the Scarborough Bluffs Trails might be the option for you.
Have a picnic
Grab a blanket, find some delicious goodies from local shops and restaurants, and head out to your local park to dine al fresco. A picnic is a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather we’re having here in Toronto while still minding social distancing guidelines.

Get in touch with your inner German (even if you don’t have German heritage) with Toronto’s Oktoberfest. This festival brings a bit of Munich to Toronto, offering delicious German cuisine, plenty of beer — including ERDINGER’s Oktoberfest Brew, which was flown in from Germany specifically for this event — and traditional Bavarian dancers. There will even be polka bands, so dress up in your lederhosen and dirndls and join us Sept. 26-28 at Ontario Place.

This festival is back from June 29 to July 1, offering you the chance to see a fleet of majestic tall ships. Docked from Bathurst to Bay, these ships will be open for deck tours — you can even go on an evening sail. There will be plenty of other events taking place at this festival, so make sure you keep it on your calendar.
